Do you accept walk ins?

Our office policy is by appointment only, but we do offer same-day appointments for sick visits.

Can I meet my pediatrician before my baby is born?

Yes! In fact, we strongly encourage parents-to-be to visit our office for a prenatal appointment. This is a great way to get acquainted with Dr. Modi and our office. During this visit, we will answer any questions that you have about our practice or your new child.

Can I meet the pediatrician before scheduling an appointment?

We do offer meet-and-greet appointments so you can get to know the pediatrician. Call our office to set up an appointment.

How easy is it to get a hold of the pediatrician?

Very easy ! The pediatrician is very flexible and always available, she can be reached at anytime.

Can I reach the pediatrician after hours ?

Yes, Call our office at anytime and the answering service will transfer you to either Dr. Modi herself or the covering physician.

Can the pediatrician be at the hospital for my delivery?

Yes, Just notify your nurse that you would like Dr. Modi to be your pediatrician.

How far in advanced do well appointments need to be scheduled ?

We recommend one week in advanced because we don't offer same day appointments.

Is this a solo or group practice ?

Dr. Kanan Modi's office is a solo practice.

Do you have separate sick and well waiting rooms ?

We do not but we do have an isolation waiting room for rashes, pink eye, or any serious infections.

Do you respond to questions by email ?

Yes, but calling the office is a much faster way of getting information.

If I leave a message how long does it take for you to call ?

If the message is left after hours we will call you back as soon as our office is open. If the pediatrician is with a patient she will answer your question as soon as she can.

Is there any extra charge for filling out forms ?

Yes, there will be a $10 fee if forms are brought after the appointment.
